Homecoming!

Friday night we all went to the homecoming football game, which is the big finale of the homecoming week. During the homecoming week students dress up to a different theme each day in the purpose of showing school spirit. Friday afternoon there was a pep rally, where everybody got pepped up to the football game in the evening. When we arrived at the stadium of Hoggard High there were a lot of people there already. The whole school was probably there, and the entire thing was just like in the movies. The cheerleaders cheered, the band played and the footballers were in action while the audience was pumped up and cheering. During the game there was a half-time show in which the band performed along with the flag-team. At the end of the half-time show, all of the nominated students for homecoming queen- and king entered the stadium all dressed-up, and the winners got their crowns. The homecoming week was a very good experience, and it was fun trying a typical American thing that you only see in movies.
